Joseph N. Stolberg serves as Managing Partner and is a co-founder of the Firm. He earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting with a concentration in Economics from Babson College in 1993. Mr. Stolberg previously served as a Partner in the Entrepreneurial Services Group at Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP. (CCR) In June 2004, Mr. Stolberg left CCR to establish the Firm.
Mr. Stolberg has more than 15 years of accounting experience with privately held companies, family owned businesses, and individuals. His areas of expertise include strategic business and succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, business and individual tax planning and financial forecasting and all aspects of financial statement and income tax compliance.
In addition to serving as a business advisor to several clients’ board of directors, Mr. Stolberg currently serves as Treasurer and Executive Committee member of Mechanics Hall in Worcester and as Treasurer and Executive Committee member of the Great Brook Valley Health Center in Worcester and Framingham.
In May of 2008 Mr. Stolberg was elected to the Board of Corporators of The Greater Worcester Community Foundation and Bay State Savings Bank.
In 2000 Joe was chosen as one of the top 40 people in the Worcester Business Community under the age of 40 by the Worcester Business Journal and is a past President of the Worcester Young Businessmen’s Association.
Mr. Stolberg is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Gregory M. Ebbeling is a co-founder and Partner of the Firm. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business economics from Calvin College in May, 1982, and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business Administration in May, 1987.
Greg has worked in both public and private accounting positions since 1987 when he began his professional career with PriceWaterhouse in Boston. After working in the corporate tax groups for a large regional transportation company and a multinational manufacturing enterprise, Greg resumed his career in public accounting, most recently working as a tax manager for Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP (CCR). He left CCR in June, 2004 to form the Firm.
Greg’s work experience is primarily in the field of taxation, and his areas of expertise include federal and state tax planning and compliance for individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships, corporations and not-for-profit entities. He works with a variety of clients ranging in size from small, closely-held business and their owners to large, multi-state organizations.
Greg is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has been actively involved in a number of civic and charitable organizations in his hometown of Northbridge, MA. Greg served two terms as a member of the Town of Northbridge Finance Committee and has been active on the governing board of his church in various leadership positions.
Keith E. Blanchette is a Partner in the Firm. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Communications from Worcester State University in May, 1998. Keith previously worked at two regional public accounting firms before joining the Firm in October, 2004. He became a Partner in October, 2005.
Keith has more than 15 years of public accounting experience working with privately-held companies. His areas of expertise are in all levels of accounting and auditing services, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and business valuations in connection with business succession, estate and gift tax matters and marital dissolutions. He has negotiated and structured several complex recapitalizations and corporate acquisitions for his middle market clients. Mr. Blanchette also is instrumental in orchestrating family business transfers.
Keith serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Worcester State University Foundation Board. He also currently serves as an Overseer at Old Sturbridge Village and as a Member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross.
Keith is a certified public accountant, a certified valuation analyst, and is certified in financial forensics. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Marc J. VanderBaan, CPA, MST is a Partner at Stolberg, Ebbeling & Blanchette, LLP. He earned a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Bryant College and a Masters of Science in Taxation from Northeastern University.
Mr. VanderBaan has more than 10 years of accounting experience with privately held companies, family owned businesses, and individuals. He has previously worked for Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP as a tax manager, and The Duchesneau Group, Inc. His areas of expertise include the review and preparation of federal and state tax returns for corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and individuals, including interim and year-end planning and forecasting. He assists clients on numerous issues, including research and development tax credits, basis issues, and state filing requirements.
Mr. VanderBaan is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts.
In May of 2008 Mr. VanderBaan was elected to the Board of Corporators of UFS Bancorp, the holding company of UniBank for Savings.
Glenn M. Creaven is a Partner in the Firm. He graduated magna cum laude and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Fitchburg State University in May, 1999. Glenn previously worked at a regional public accounting firm before joining the Firm in September 2007. He became a Partner in January 2015.
Glenn has more than 16 years of public accounting experience working with privately-held companies. His areas of expertise include accounting and auditing services, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and business valuations in connection with business succession, estate and gift tax matters and marital dissolutions. He also specializes in audits of employee benefit plans required under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and field examination services for a wide range of commercial bankers and asset-based lenders.
Glenn is certified to conduct peer reviews of other CPA firms, which involves examining the firm’s files for quality and reporting to governing bodies to ensure that the reviewed firm meets the profession’s rigid standards. Glenn is a certified public accountant and a certified valuation analyst. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Glenn resides in Leominster with his wife and two children and is actively involved in a number of youth, civic and charitable organizations.
Jeffrey P. Duquette is currently a partner at the firm. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Bryant College. Upon graduating in 2002, Jeff worked for Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP for 4 years before joining Stolberg, Ebbeling & Blanchette, LLP in the summer of 2006.
Jeff’s 14 years of experience and expertise have been focused in the personal and corporate tax planning and compliance arenas. In addition, he has developed other business consulting specialties in a variety of areas including forecasting, cash flow analysis, benchmarking and personal financial planning.
Jeff’s involvement in outside organizations include membership in the Worcester Young Businessman’s Association, the Worcester Economics Club and the Central MA Young Professionals Network.
Jeff is a certified public accountant licensed in Massachusetts and has also earned a personal financial specialist designation. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
